Developing, Maintaining, and Sustaining Online Teacher Professional Development Programs (Cascade D)
Rebekah Richards, The American Academy

Part 1 - Developing Relevant, Efficient, and Applicable Professional Learning Plans
Join The American Academy for an interactive discussion about developing and maintaining active and productive online learning communities. Participate in an informal self-evaluation and walk away with clear goals and action steps for a PD plan tailored to meet the unique needs of your institution and your teachers.

Part 2 - Evaluating Teacher Performance
The iNACOL's Standards for High Quality Teachers is a valuable resource for measuring the effectiveness of teachers and of your professional development programs. In this part of the session, we'll discuss ways these Standards can be used to develop an objective, actionable evaluation plan.

Part 3 - Professional Development for Teachers at Scale
Professional development for teachers looks and feels very different when the audience is 100 or 1000 teachers rather than 10 or 20 teachers. In this part of the session, we'll discuss the challenges and changes administrators need to think about when supporting large-scale teacher cadres.
